By Mike Carson. By Various. Arranged by Mike Carson. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 30 pages. Mike Carson #853312. Published by Mike Carson (A0.1260479).

Hymntroductions™ are organ introductions for hymns, based on Mike Carson's Hymnbellishments™ (www.carsonhymns.com). They are shorter in length than the individual hymns, the melody is prominent, and the basic harmonic structure is intact. In other words, the hymn tune is easily recognizable. They are created to 1. announce the hymn tune, 2. establish the key and tempo, and 3. demonstrate the mood and style of each hymn in an artistic and meaningful way.

This particular set of Hymntroductions™ is for the 29 sacrament hymns identified in HYMNS (1985) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The audio is a complete performance of each "Hymntroduction." The PDF is a little over 29 pages.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
