Composed by Lynn L. Petersen and Philipp Nicolai (1556-1608). Arranged by Lynn L. Petersen. Christian,Christmas,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Lynn L. Petersen #839061. Published by Lynn L. Petersen (A0.1244085).

A piano arrangement of the hymn melody WIE SCHÖN LEUCHTET by Philipp Nicolai (1556-1608), a tune associated with multiple texts and Seasons, including Epiphany and Pentecost.  This spirited arrangement in six-eight meter is based on the "rhythmic" version of the tune and incorporates syncopation, hemiola, and shifting metric accents.  The hymn phrases are grouped in three sections separated by recurring motivic material from the introduction. The second group of phrases modulates to F Major.  Suitable for worship as prelude, offertory, or postlude.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
