Composed by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. Arranged by Paul W. Allen. Historic,Instructional,Standards. Individual part. 15 pages. Allen/Myer Musicals #791692. Published by Allen/Myer Musicals (A0.1192223).

The movie Star Spangled Rhythm featured many standard swing hits including this upbeat tune.  In the movie, it was a love duet sung very quickly between Mary Martin and Dick Powers, followed by an even lively African-American quartet trying to get the couple out of the bar and to their rooms so the place can be closed for the night.  In the intervening time, the tune has been re-established as a lullaby at a much slower tempo, which this arrangement replicates.  Here it is cast for a full 6-octave handbell choir, with or without voice, and has among other distinctions the unresolved closing chords.  This is a sure hit for ringers and audiences.  You may purchase 1 copy of this full score arrangement for the price listed.
