Composed by Joachim Neander. Arranged by Rebecca Maughan Cook. Easter,Sacred,Spiritual. 10 pages. Rebecca Maughan Cook #1933561. Published by Rebecca Maughan Cook (A0.908150).

This beautiful Easter arrangement is for string ensemble. I wrote it for a string group that included experienced players as well as string players that had started only two weeks before. Parts included are: Score, Experienced Violin, New Violin, Melody Violin, Second Violin, Viola, New Cello and Experienced Cello. When my string group performed it, the bass player doubled the experienced VC. We also repeated the music and had the experienced violin part wait until the second time to play. This is the string friendly key of D. Both the new cello and new violin parts mostly rely upon open strings and the first note up from that. This is the perfect way for multiple leveled groups to play an Easter song together. Enjoy!
