"Let Us Rejoice" (translation from Hebrew) is a traditional Jewish song that has become a staple at all Jewish celebrations. Since being introduced to the "rest" of the world in April 1959 by Harry Balafonte at Carnegie Hall it has grown in popularity to be a "mega-hit", played everywhere, by everyone! The song's origins are from the Ukraine and words were added in 1918 by Israeli musicologist Abraham Idelsohn.
