Composed by Nigel Williams. Concert,Instructional,Standards. Score and part. 6 pages. Nigel Williams #3568819. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763270).

'Halcyon' is an expressive and tranquil piece for oboe and piano and is especially well suited to the intermediate ability level High School music student. The word Halcyon denotes a mythical bird said by ancient writers to be able to calm the wind and waves during the winter solstice. The musical structure is simple binary and the digital sound file begins at the 23rd measure, the beginning of the second section. The performance duration is a little over two and a half minutes and the full score download contains separate parts. See also similar scores for violin and flute with piano.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
