Published by Tim Attride (A0.851271).Written at the request of the organist of Godalming Parish Church, John Belcher (formerly at Tewkesbury Abbey / Chester Cathedral), this is a simple unison plus organ setting, originally of just the "Sanctus", "Benedictus" & "Agnus Dei" in English. Recently, the work has been enlarged by the addition of the Kyries, Gloria, Acclamations and Sursum Corda. Approachable for the singers and only a little more difficult for the organist. The organ for which it was written has a Tuba, Great Trumpet & Clarinet, hence the instructions, but a smaller instrument will still do it justice.
The recording is of just the Gloria, taken from a live-streamed service.
