Published by Molenaar Edition (ML.025556020-S).The Austrian composer Hans Gansch (Kinberg an der Mank, 1925), solo trumpeter with the Vienna Philharmonic, dedicated his march 'For Peace and Freedom' to his fellow-countryman Kurt Waldheim. Professor Waldheim was Secretary-General of the United Nations from 1972 to 1981 and President of the Austrian Republic from 1986 to 1992. This cheerful march cannot deny its country of origin, but this is rather a bonus.
