Composed by Reinhold Moritzovich Gliere. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 12 pages. Gordon Cherry #4988163. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792467).

The Ten Duos for Cellos of Op. 53 are fertile ground for this new arrangement.

Ralph Sauer has chosen five of the pieces (12 minutes of music) that are suitable for two Euphoniums.

Both parts have an equally wide range (high D to low C) with liberal use of the lower register. However, alternative octaves are provided for those without a fourth valve.

For advanced performers, the Duos present a technical challenge for both players, are musically rewarding, and worthy of recital material.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
