Composed by Aaron Lee. Arranged by Aaron Lee. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary. Score and parts. 56 pages. J. Aaron Lee #221854. Published by J. Aaron Lee (A0.612664).

Originally written for Saxophones, this arrangement for clarinet quartet was done by specific request and I was thrilled with how well this new ensemble worked for the piece! The result is a light-hearted, contemporary work for clarinet quartet. This work is inspired by J. S. Bach and makes use of pastiche, metric modulation, and a healthy dose of humour! Faux Pas de Deux re-imagines a Bach prelude as a modern, yet accessible, work for clarinet quartet. The work references and toys with traditional tonal practices to create a comedic, yet challenging piece for chamber ensemble. For more music from Aaron Lee, you can visit www.musicoflee.com.
