In this humble tribute to Ralph Vaughan Williams, I offer this Fantasia on another theme from Thomas Tallis's contribution in 1567 to Archbishop Parker's Psalter: his Seventh Tune for Psalm 52. My Fantasia tries to reflect David's feelings of disgust, anger and sadness, but also his calm confidence in God.
