SKU: A0.740285

Composed by Bedrich Smetana. Arranged by Craig Garner (for Brass Quintet, Organ and Timpani). Romantic Period. Score and parts. 18 pages. Dorm 40 Music #6230863. Published by Dorm 40 Music (A0.740285).

This arrangement is part of the Chicago Gargoyle Brass and Organ Ensemble Signature Series.

In 1867, Smetana composed this fanfare as a prelude for a performance of his symphonic poem, Richard III. The original work was scored for a brass ensemble of horns, trumpets, trombones and timpani. This arrangement, for brass quintet, organ and timpani was also conceived as concert opener. It is rather short, not too demanding and certain to grab the attention of your audience. Performance time, 1 minute. Published by Dorm 40 Music,  www.dorm40music.com

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
