Johann Strauss Jr. (1825-1899) is famous all over the world as the 'Viennese Waltz King'. Nevertheless Strauss Junior also composed many polka's and a series of marches among which Russian March and Egyptian March are still regularly performed at the traditional New Year's Television Concert.
