Creative arrangement that includes part of a Christmas tune in an Easter arrangement. In the beginning, chimes ring out Christ the Lord is Risen Today! Hear the Bells Ringing, they're singing that Christ is risen from the dead! The time signature changes often, but rarely is slow. This arrangement is peppy, but also haunting and soft in the minor parts that build dynamically and chordally to He Is Risen! I end with a triumphant portion of He Lives, ending with the Easter Song again.
This is a powerful, dramatic, fun, interesting arrangement for advanced piano soloists that is just right for Easter Sunday offertory, special solo, prelude, or postlude. Time signatures used are 4/4, 3/4 in 3, 3/4 in 1, and 2/4, with several tempo changes, arpeggions, two octave gliss into Joy To The World.
