Deliverance is an exciting concert suite by Etienne Crausaz. The first movement is in the style of a siciliana, starting out quiet and calmly, then slowly building in excitement and energy. The second movement, a scherzo, allows for colourful sounds and timbres and is full of humorous musicalelements and contrasts. The third movement, the vivace, presents a dialogue between the higher and lower registers of the band with plenty of time changes. Deliverance is an action-packed composition, full of colour and contrast.

Een boeiende compositie boordevol kleuren en contrasten. Dat is Deliverance van Etienne Crausaz. Het eerste deel van deze driedelige concertsuite begint rustig met een soort sicilienne. Verderop mondt het uit in een climax. Het tweededeel is een scherzo. Hier is plaats voor kleurrijk musiceren vol humoristische elementen en felle contrasten! In het derde deel, het ‘vivace’, staat de dialoog tussen de hoge en lage stemmen centraal. Enkele maatwisselingen zorgenhier voor de nodige actie. Deliverance: kleurrijk en toegankelijk!

Diese dreiteilige Konzert-Suite von Etienne Crausaz beginnt mit einem ersten Teil im Stil einer Sicilienne, der ruhig beginnt und dann zu einem Höhepunkt führt. Der zweite Teil, ein Scherzo, gibt Raum für farbenreiches Musizieren und ist voll von humoristischen Elementen sowie starken Kontrasten. Im dritten Teil, den Vivace, steht der Dialog zwischen den hohen und den tiefen Stimmen im Mittelpunkt, einige Taktwechsel sorgen für die nötige Action- Deliverance ist eine spannende Komposition, voller Farben und Kontraste und in einer zugänglichen musikalischen Sprache verfasst.

Cette suite de concert en trois parties composée par Etienne Crausaz s’amorce par un mouvement écrit dans le style d’une Sicilienne : un début tout en douceur qui cède peu peu sa place un tutti d’une grande profondeur. Le scherzo, en deuxième partie, est haut en couleurs et constellé de touches humoristiques. Dans le dernier mouvement, un vivace, se forge un brillant dialogue avec changements de tempi entre les instruments graves, médium et aigus. Deliverance est une composition exaltante, pleine de couleurs et de contrastes tout en restant musicalement accessible.

Questa suite in tre parti composta da Etienne Crausaz si annuncia con un movimento scritto nello stile di una Siciliana: un inizio dolce che cede il posto a un tutti di grande impatto. Lo scherzo, nel secondo movimento, è molto colorito e caratterizzato da tocchi umoristici. Nel terzo movimento, un vivace e brillante dialogo si fonde in un passaggio con cambiamenti di tempo tra gli strumenti gravi, medi e acuti. Deliverance è una composizione che pur restando musicalmente accessibile, è esaltante, piena di colori e contrasti.
