The instrumentation is Solo Clarinet in B-flat, E-flat Clarinet, B-flat Clarinet 1,2,3,4, Basset Horn (or Alto Clarinet), Bass Clarinet, and Contrabass Clarinet (or Contra-Alto Clarinet).
