Composed by Oskar Rieding. Arranged by Christopher A. Sforza. 20th Century,Romantic Period,Standards. 75 pages. Christopher A. Sforza #6655699. Published by Christopher A. Sforza (A0.909640).

The Concerto in b minor by Oskar Rieding is a well-known and often studied piece for beginning violin players of all ages.  This three-movement work originally for solo violin and piano is a wonderful introduction into more mature and advanced violin literature. This arrangement for four violins is crafted as true "chamber music" without the need of piano accompaniment. Two versions are included: Version A keeps the original solo violin part completely in the first violin, while the other parts accompany.  Version B disperses the solo material throughout all four parts, making each equally balanced melodically, harmonically, and in difficulty.

Included are scores and individual violin parts for both Versions A and B.
