Composed by Claude Debussy. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Classical. Score and part. Alea Publishing #ALEA1200. Published by Alea Publishing (A7.ALEA1200).

One of the most familiar works by the French impressionist composer Claude Debussy (1862-1918) is his Clair de Lune, the third movement of his Suite bergamasque for solo piano. Its name comes from Verlaine's poem Clair de lune, which means moonlight in French. In this skillful arrangement, Keith Terrett makes this familiar work available for clarinet quintet, specifically two soprano clarinets, alto clarinet, bass clarinet, and contrabass clarinet. None of the individual parts are tremendously difficult, and the work would make an excellent addition to a concert program.
