Bread Maker's Dance is a spirited waltz. The right-hand "A" theme melody consistently uses the interval of a third. The phrasings, tempo alterations, and wide dynamic ranges provide plenty of opportunity for musical interpretation and creativity. This piece tells the story of a Portuguese village bread maker. Each day, in her centuries-old bakery, she bakes delicious fresh bread for the entire village in her ancient oven. It's her daily "dance."

Bread Maker's Dance
, from the solo piano album and songbook Stories from Portugal, can be found worldwide on all major listening platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, SoundCloud, etc.
