Composed by Mike Lyons. 20th Century,Renaissance. Score and parts. 14 pages. Lyons Music Services #4798785. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767504).

This is an original brass quintet in a contrapuntal style. Each part in turn takes the short motif that develops into the main subject. It follows through the traditional rules of species counterpoint, in fact the title is taken from the original description of counterpoint as "Point against point".

This has several advantages in that each part has an important role in maintaining the interest in the music and nobody has time to get bored!.

A great original piece for brass quartet.

Parts are suppled as ollows:
Cornet/Trumpet in Bb
Horn in Eb/F
Euphonium/Trombone in Bb (Treble/Bass)
Tuba/Eb Bass
