By Creedence Clearwater Revival. By John Fogerty. Arranged by T. Douglas Bush. Rock. Individual part. 10 pages. T. Douglas Bush #6208529. Published by T. Douglas Bush (A0.927620).

"Born on the Bayou" is another classic Swamp Rock tune from John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Although Fogerty never lived in the South, he managed to capture the feeling of the area like no one before or since. He wrote this song in his apartment, without his guitar present, which is surprising, considering prominent role of the guitar in the recording.

This arrangement for fingerstyle guitar is based on the long version (the album version). I discovered a lot of subtle variations in the vocals and accompaniment in each verse and chorus. I attempted to capture as much of the original recording as possible. Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do.
