Boogie Woogie Festival is a jazz piece that makes use of the twelve-bar blues form, and contains the tonic, dominant and subdominant chords; however, the piece is double the size of the blues form. The purpose of this work is to help the player develop appreciation for popular music of many styles, including blues and other musical idioms.
