Bloxham Cutoff is a highway south of Tallahassee, Florida. When heading to the beach, my wife and I can feel the stress leaving us as we head down Capital Circle and turn onto Springhill Road. By the time we get to Bloxham Cutoff we are completely relaxed and smiling; then the vacation has really begun. I think of the piece as highway "cruising" music; my wife (violinist) envisions clear skies after a summer rain. Contact: tstanley@fsu.edu
