Violin Solo - Level 1 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1105737

Composed by Wendy Loder. Arranged by Wendy Loder, ASCAP. Classical,Instructional,Traditional. 6 pages. LarkAngel Productions #708960. Published by LarkAngel Productions (A0.1105737).

These bowing exercises are so helpful for absolute beginners, to learn the basic techniques (and art!) of starting & stopping rhythmically using half and whole bows. More bow divisions and rhythms are introduced, using open strings A-D-G-E. Then basic 5-note scales on E using the different placement of whole & half-steps. The following pages have fingering charts/tablatures to correlate note names on the violin with treble clef written underneath, and a suggested practice exercise. The charts are great to have as reference to help learn the letter names that match with the fingering numbers in first position.
