Composed by C.S. Grafulla. Arranged by Emmett Anglin. Folk,Patriotic,Traditional. Score and parts. 75 pages. OTBM #3246121. Published by OTBM (A0.990609).

Lieutenant Collin's Quickstep is one of approximately 20 marches (quicksteps) by C.S. Grafulla in the Library of Congress. It is from the Civil War era but may have been written before 1860. The original is a piano piece that is probably based on a brass band piece. An interesting feature is that the time signature starts out in six-eight and switches to two-four in the middle of the piece. It is, at most, a grade 3. Fun to play and listen to. Instrumentation of this edition is for modern concert band.
