By Benny Goodman. By Alex Templeton. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Jazz. 29 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #6211199. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.560007).

Alec Templeton was a Welsh musician who was born blind. He studied music at the Royal Academy of Music in England and moved to the United States in his early 30's to make his mark.

He played in many orchestras and jazz bands and soon had a radio show of his own called Alec Templeton Time.

Bach Goes to Town is a cute jazzy piece which the Benny Goodman band covered in 1938. This arrangement for clarinet choir is simple enough for musicians with intermediate music skills and is fun to play!

Scored for 3 Bb, alto, bass, and contrabass clarinets. There is an optional Eb clarinet part that can be played in lieu of or in addition to the Clarinet 1 part.

This piece will delight your audience!

Duration: 3.25 minutes
