Composed by George Poulton. Arranged by Larry Conger. Folk. Individual part. 3 pages. Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music #5197849. Published by Larry Conger/Dulcimerican Music (A0.509773).

"Aura Lee" is a Civil War era song arranged for solo mountain dulcimer in the style of Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender."  It is arranged in two different keys - they key of D and the key of G.  The arrangement makes use of a 1+ fret as an optional note.  If you do not have a 1+ fret on your dulcimer, simply substitute an open string wherever you see the 1+ fret indicated.

The arrangement is suitable for the early intermediate level player and beyond. The primary challenge to playing the song will be the "pinching" technique found throughout the arrangement.

Two pages.  Tablature, standard musical notation, and guitar accompaniment chords are included.  No lyrics provided.
