So too may I may embark,

To set the souls of many free,

Who languish in the dark.


Who cannot find the way ahead,

Because they do not know,

The path that leads to living bread,

God’s kingdom here below.


2. As God has given breath to me,

So may I testify.

Of glories that are yet to be,

Descending from the sky,


Of ancient records now made bright,

And temple spires that shine,

Of revelation’s holy light,

And covenants divine.


3. As God has given joy to me,

So may I sing his praise,

With faith that makes the shadows flee,

And hope that clears my gaze.


So I shall shine, a beacon strong,

Upon the hightest hill,

That beckons all to join the song:

The chorus of God’s will.
