Originally intended to emulate the many ornaments in Arabic music, the arabesques are infused with embellishments. There should be clarity, evenness and precision in both hands, which can be difficult due to the many changes in hand position, but I simplified the playing by using eighth notes instead of sixteenth notes and pointed to a comfortable fingering.
