Adriana: A piano piece in neo-baroque style. The left hand plays a "lamento bass", an always descending line (with a few exceptions: repetitions or confirmations). Above, the right hand performs a tonally wandering, 5/8 melody with asymmetrical motifs. The score indicates "Soberly expressive Andante".

This piano prelude, which was composed in Bremen (Germany) on May 2021, is dedicated to Dr. Adriana Prigollini.
