An arrangement of the Adagio, originally deemed to have been by the Baroque era composer Tomaso Albinoni, and edited by the 20th century musicologist Remo Giazotto. There has been an ongoing scholarly debate as to whether Albinoni actually composed any of this, or whether it was all by Giazotto. In either case it's a wonderful piece of music. I was first made aware of this piece by a beautiful recording on an arrangement for two guitars and played by the mid 20th century duo of Presti and Lagoya. My arrangement is for flute (or alto recorder) and guitar, and included is a full score, plus parts for flute, alto recorder, and guitar. The melodic part could also be played on oboe or violin.
