a succinct four-line poem expressing its transporting effect on him. The exact piece
to which he was referring is not known, however this Sonata in A Major, K. 208
seems to me a perfect match. By superimposing the text over the music
I have expressed my appreciation of the two artists' work:
Scarlatti's beautiful music and Huxley's lovely reflection on it.
