Published by Pierre Massie (A0.983268).The piece is a lovely lullaby about the birth of Jesus featuring an opening tenor solo/soli - sections for TBB and SSAA. The cascade section of "Gentle, precious baby Jesus" although chilling in effect tells us that, despite the harsh conditions, something magical happened on Christmas Day.
This piece is very suitable around Christmas time and is a medium level difficulty appropriate for schools, students, and church services. My newest composition - this was written to celebrate the 40th year of The Stairwell Carollers singing in Canada's capital. It is an officially bilingual Xmas carol with both English and French in the verses - Canada's two official languages. The premier was at our 40th anniversary concert at Knox Presbyterian Church in Ottawa on Dec 15th, 2017.
