( Lohengrin ), Finale ( Tristan and Isolde ), Selections ( The Flying Dutchman ), Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral ( Lohengrin ) and The Ride of the Valkyries ( The Valkyries ). These selections offer musicians, particularly brass players, the chance to sample some of Wagner’s greatest music.
Beauty and power take equal stage as the arrangement presents Wagner’s brilliance as a composer. The selections are transitioned to provide a smooth flow between the ups and downs of emotion.
