    Here is is, and it's been done right. It's in the original key, which is the ONLY way it should be...no remedial simplification at all. It's Tower's actual chart and that one-and-only sound right here!

  • April 09, 2007 Tower of Power IS hip!

    The chart for "What is Hip?" by the legendary Tower of Power is beautifully done. This is not a beginners chart, though, because concert key is "E" and the transpositions for horns are "F#" and "C#" for alto and baritone saxes. The parts are big and easy to read (visually...

    , the music reading ability s up to you). Included are 5 master rhythm charts, score and additional parts for alto which doubles tenor #1 and trombone which is tenor #2. All told, there are the rhythm parts mentioned above, 2-trumpet parts, 2-tenor and a baritone sax part.
