This piece, with its driving rhythm, the optional percussive effects, and the highly symbolic poetry, is sure to be a hit with more advanced choirs. Don't take it too slow, or the thrust of the work loses focus

Great solo piece, with wonderfully complex medieval lyrics and sparse accompaniment. Wish you carried it in C.

  • May 22, 2008 Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day Review

This is one of the most popular choral works by John Gardner. It is a very clever musical treatment of prose describing Christ and his coming and life. The piece is lively and guarenteed not to loose the interest of the audiance.
