    I would agree with a lot of the other reviewers. This is a pretty cool piece to play, though it is quite difficult and takes much time to figure out the fingerings and time changes. I would also agree that despite being fun to play, it isn't very fun...

    Stravinsky's Three Pieces are very much examples of modern classical music. But they are fun to play, and very challenging. The first piece is slow and easy, with a "cool" surprise ending. The second is, in my mind, the hardest, and is not horribly devoid of musical value. The...

    third, now, is, well...(just look back at the last sentence). But it is probably the most fun to play. Good pieces of music? No way. Good items in a clarinetist's reperoire? I think so.

    Movement 1 is slow, not technically demanding, and very pretty. Movement 2 is much more technically demanding, but in my opinion, the difficulty with M.2 is playing it under control (the fast parts are all marked mf, except at the very end). Movement 3 sounds like the crazy birds...

    that live in my backyard--I have no idea how Stravinsky did that, but it's very cool. Any of these pieces could have been published alone and would be considered a classic. You get all three for one easy price!

    oh my gosh this is what I have been waiting for something with out PIANO! the notes look easy but all the stinkin time changes are nuts!

    as with most pieces from this composer thier are some rather crazy time signatures or not having any. overall well worth the money and great for more advanced players.
