I got "The Very Best of John Williams" from my friend, since I'm a saxophone player. I put my sax together to see how good the music really was. But what I found was not what I expected. First of all, what I found out was that the only...

movies that the compositions are from are "Star Wars," "Harry Potter," and "Superman." There is only one piece that doesn't come from these films, and that is the olympic fanfare, and that's not from a movie. All in all, "The Very Best of John Williams" is okay to get if you're a really obsessed John Williams player, or you just want a challege, but if you're a beginner...skip it.
