One of the "unknown" names but a firstclass songwriter, Hugh Martin at last gets a volume of his own. Kudos to The Richmond Organisation and Hal Leonard. Many favourites, a few omissions, perhaps most curiously, "I'm Not So Bright". In the main verses are included but sadly not for...

the gorgeous "Love Can Change The Stars". Some newish songs published for the first time here. Martin's music is always pianistically appealing. Accompanying prose and photos are of interest.
