Saxophone Quintet sheet music of Take Five: a great jazz standard composed by Paul Desmond in 1959.

This arrangement is transposed in a "easier" G minor key and includes the solo as recorded by the "Dave Brubeck Quartet" in Time Out album, splitted into the soprano, alto and tenor parts. Just added some slurs for a smooth tonguing.

Music duration: 2'39''

    Difficulty Level:
  • February 13, 2022 A lot of fun!

This arrangement is accessible and it’s fun. Worth checking out for more advanced groups because, and I can’t stress this enough, it’s a lot of fun. For less experienced players, it’s a good introduction to unusual time signatures. If you’re looking for something more advanced...
