  • March 04, 2018 Excellent supplemental book

Not a beginner book; requires shifting, harmonics. I wish the Violin and Cello books had the same pieces and could be played together.

My Daughter was looking for something to play that was not in the Suzuki literature. The Gondola Song was perfect for an upcoming recital and the Cd is lovely!

  • July 05, 2006 Excellent addition to Suzuki material

My son is 8 and received this book on completing his Suzuki book 3. He was thrilled to have this music and was able to play all the pieces after enthusiastic practising for a week. The music is varied and has been a welcome additon to Suzuki cello book 4...

and he is demanding to have the second volume as soon as possible.
