From Haydn's Paukenmesse. this new SSA voicing allows your treble choir to establish a full sound early in the year, while building confidence within each section. Short, easy to learn. Excellent masterwork edition for school or church. Superb choice for contest or festival. Also available for SSAB 15/1071-Missa in tempore belli ...(Mass in Time of War), was composed in 1796 and named Paukenmess for the conspicuous role of kettledrums (pauke), in this work. The Sanctus is a short section of the Mass, containing a beautiful lyrical opening, contrasted with a strong, full, and joyful ending. It sounds big, but needs little rehearsal time. Enjoy!
