  • June 10, 2008 Michael Kamen's Quintet is beautiful!

Each instrument's part is written idiomatically for that instrument. Mr. Kamen had a great understanding of each instrument's ability wrote comfortably within that range. This work calls for a very legato style of playing along with a rhythmic confidence in order to pull it off effectively. Fantastic composition...

  • October 19, 2007 Best piece of music I've played in a long time!

Not an easy piece, but is well worth the time to make it sound good. The piece is a "Tone Poem" and it does set to mind different visions while being played and/or listened to. You owe it to yourself to do one or the other or both. Michael...

    Kamen was a genius!!
