The ONLY reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 from me was the almost arrogant lack of helpful instructions proceeding each section. You may say..yes but its all self explanatory. No, it isnt. Not to a student without formal instruction. Like myself. But the thing is damn good...

anyway as long as you put in the effort. I am slowly but surely actually learning how to sight read in ALL keys and in ALL positions thanks to this book. Its actually an amazingly good work just...my own advise to the author...make it more "user friendly". Im not talking about changing the style of notaion, I actually LIKE the weird handwritten style, just include more explanation about what you desire and for gods sake more info regarding the obscure symbols you occasionally use. I saw something that wasnt a flat or a sharp and was like ??? But know this: its pretty damn good anyway and it does what it claims IF you work at it. :)
