  • May 12, 2013 Awesome Musical

I used this musical with my grade 4 and 5 class. The music was very catchy and the kids did not tire of practising it. Even the boys thought it was fun to sing when you're a pirate. The lines are divided up quite evenly so that it is...

not too much for any one student to learn. I would HIGHLY recommend this musical. Check out songs and performance ideas on YOUTUBE.

  • April 23, 2013 Awesome.

We are doing this play inside school. It's a good one, and many of us enjoy it. It helps the slower kids, too, because of it's 'slower' music. -K.P.

  • May 14, 2012 Loved It!

My 4th grade daughter's classes just put on this play. The children loved the story and songs. The audience loved the fact that the children loved it so much and enjoyed practicing and performing it. The format allowed a speaking part for many of the children which thrilled them...

. For elementary school students this is a really good choice.

At my school we're doing this play. As an 8th grader I have to say that this may be the worst play ever. The dancing is boring, the dialouge is awful, and the characters are 5-year-old material. At best. The only good thing about this play is...

that its just 40 minutes. I don't think I could stand it if it were any longer. DO NOT BUY!

  • April 12, 2009 A Winner on the High Seas!

I just did 3 shows with gr. 5-6: 130 kids. Emerson & Jacobson again hit a winner. The songs are catchy and it opens great cross-curricular dialogue. Singable range for elem age. Choreo notes are great or you can expand to add more. I highly recommend it.
