  • March 12, 2005 ENCHANTING AND EMOTIONAL!!!

It starts with the enchanting melody of the Clarinets, goes into an Oboe solo, and continues the sweet ballad with Flutes and Clarinets and goes into the battle! The melody gets very violent, and very awesome, but also traumatic! The French Horns, Trombones, and Baritones go wild with their triplet...

notes and the Trumpets wail! It is a very moving song! The song's ending represents the end of the war, a time of weeping, and victory as well. The Clarinets and Alto Saxs take the weeping and gradually draw the melody out to represent the victory over the battlefield! The Clarinets, Basoons, Flutes, and Piccolos then go under multiple triplet runs, which are pretty easy beacuase they go 1-a-li and-a-li and such forth at a slow tempo, it's simple to pull it off other than the accidentals added. The Trumpets take over the melody while the other instruments are doing the triplets, and the song ends with the band concluding the strain.
