If you want to know what the Armed Services Medley should sound like, I suggest you get in touch with the Air Force Band in Washington, D.C. and get a copy of what should be done with this medley. There is not a MAJOR service band in D.C. that would dare do a medley and leave out two of the other service's songs. It is a shame that the project managers and arrangers chose to do this medley in this manner, especially because the rest of the CD and book are really very good and playable for the public. I sincerely hope that you, Alfred Publishing, will bring this review to the attention of those responsible and have them do it right this time.

I had purchased some music for a trumpet trio. The other two players had not practiced the music enough so I had to come up with something on short notice. This patriotic music worked very well. The songs were very recognizable to everyone, and they were very easy to learn...

. I would like to the see the same people create a patriotic series for very experienced players, but for beginners or on short notice, this series is great!
