    Hello When I was around 11 or so, I started learning how to play the accordian. I quit playing it in my early teens, I did manage to make it to book 6. I recently started playing the accordian all over again, 30 plus years later! I was so surprised...

    to find the same books I initially was taught on available still at a store here in Winnipeg. I bought several of the books, and really enjoy learning all this over again! I'm surprised by the retention one has, one draw-back is, sometimes it would be nice to hear the songs I'm learning. [...] I really enjoy the books, and have even started teaching a young person in accordian playing, utilizing the same books I used as a young fellow. They are still such great books! I'm finding it very rewarding to be able to continue with accordian playing! [...]

    I would highly recommend any of the books in the Palmer Hughes Accordion Course series to any teacher or person who wants to learn to play the accordion. The songs and instructions throughout the entire series are great. The series does an excellent job on building the skills of the...
