A really wide range of difficulty, so no matter how good you are, there will be only a few songs that interest you. Not worth $20.

  • August 22, 2009 Strange keys!

Some of the keys are non-traditional, especially Jesu...it is awkward to play (and hear) it in C Major instead of G. The print is not easy on the eyes, either. I will be trying out Latham's arrangements instead.

  • October 09, 2008 dissappointed

I naively thought I could find duets for violin and flute, with two g-clef parts. I'm now rewriting the bass clef into a treble clef.

  • August 21, 2008 Good selection but strange keys

For the most part, a good selection of popular pieces arranged for two instruments. I was surprised that some of the standard works were in non-standard keys (for instance, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring is in C major, not G major). Therefore, they may sound a bit strange...

to players who are familiar with them.

  • July 28, 2008 Great Arrangements & Fun to Play

We have really enjoyed playing the pieces in this collection. They are interesting and well balanced between the two instruments. They range from somewhat easy to challenging, for intermediate players. We also have volume 2 in this series and like it as well.
