Minor Madness is a grade 1.5 minor key swing chart. The opening melodic statement features stop time in the rhythm section before moving to a straight-ahead swing feel on the bridge. Material from the introduction is then used as a transition to the solo section. The shout chorus features unison rhythms that are very helpful in getting young players to phrase properly. Introductory material returns at the end, tying the entire piece together.
